Snittblommor – Frö till olika sorter
Hos oss hittar du ett stort utbud av fröer till ettåriga blommor och utfyllnadsväxter för att odla och kombinera fantastiska snittblomsbuketter.
Odla snittblommor
Det är ljuvligt att kunna gå ut i sin trädgård eller på sin balkong och plocka en bukett färska och närodlade snittblommor! Många av våra ettåriga sommarblommor lämpar sig utmärkt som snittblommor och med rätt omvårdnad blommar de hela sommaren. Ettåriga sommarblommor attraherar också många pollinerare och hjälper till att pollinera fruktträd, bärbuskar och köksväxter. Plantera därför gärna sommarblommor tillsammans i din köksträdgård och skapa en vacker samodling, en så kallad potager. Eller skapa en egen snittblomsodling i en pallkrage eller på friland.
Snittblommor som blommar länge
- Välj fröer till sorter som är remonterande (återblommande).
- Klipp bort överblommat så stimuleras knoppsättningen och du får en längre blomning att njuta av.
- Många sommarblommor förgrenar sig naturligt men kommer att blomma ännu rikligare om du toppar dem. När plantorna har blivit runt ca 20 cm höga klipper du ner dem strax över det andra eller tredje bladparet nerifrån. Då kommer de bilda ännu fler stjälkar som kan ge blommor.
Hållbara snittblommor
Om du odlar dina egna snittblommor får du på köpet blombuketter som är hållbara både för plånboken och miljön. En del kanske tänker att konstgjorda snittblommor är ett miljövänligt alternativ då de håller i en evighet. Men att producera dem kräver mycket energi och tillverkningen är sällan miljövänlig.
