Här kan du köpa vitlök för odling som du kan plantera både vår och höst. Vi har även ekologiskt odlad vitlök.
Plantera och odla vitlök
Vitlöksklyftorna sätts på hösten när temperaturen är sval. Det är viktigt att inte sätta vitlök för tidigt då lökarna riskerar att börja gro. Vissa sorter som inte tål tjäle kan med fördel planteras på våren. Vitlök kan du odla i kruka eller odlingslåda på balkongen eller uteplatsen. På friland i väldränerad jord. Vitlök kan även odlas inomhus på fönsterbrädan men då odlar man dem för bladens skull.
Vitlök – sorter
Vitlök som thermidrome, cledor, messidor och therador är bara några av våra mest populära sorter. Men elefantvitlök slår nog rekord. Elefantvitlöken är en specialsort som egentligen är närmare släkt med purjolök och har en mildare smak än vanlig vitlök.
Skörda och förvara vitlök
Vitlök s kördas på sommaren året efter att klyftorna sattes på hösten. Vitlöken kan skördas för antingen färskkonsumtion eller så låter man de mogna genom att torkas på en varm och solig plast. Ett praktiskt sätt att göra detta på är att göra en snygg vitlöksfläta att hänga upp.
