Wexthuset har lång och mycket god erfarenhet av odling i odlingssäck. Kunder som testat återkommer för att utöka sina odlingar i planteringssäck. Det är ett behändigt sätt att odla tomater, potatis, kryddörter, jordgubbar och blommor på en liten yta som balkong och terrass. Att odla i odlingssäck är också ett smart sätt att kunna förflytta sin odling under säsongen.
Vilken odlingssäck ska jag välja?
Vi har flera modeller, som lämpar sig för olika slags grödor. Länge har vi erbjudit olika lösningar för tomater och potatis i odlingssäck. Det är viktigt att välja en så stor jordvolym som möjligt. Då kan rötterna bre ut sig och skötseln blir enklare med mindre passning med vattning och gödsling eftersom jorden kan hålla en större buffert. Olika växtslag behöver olika höjd på planteringssäcken, beroende på rötternas förgrening. Morötter och potatis behöver en lite djupare odlingssäck, som rymmer ca 40 liter. Kryddörter som basilika, timjan och mynta klarar sig däremot med en grund säck på 20 centimeters djup. För tomater, meloner, gurka och kålväxter behövs en rejäl jordvolym och ett stadigt material. Några modeller har integrerat växtstöd för slingrande växtslag som tomater, gurka och baljväxter.
Vigoroot odlingssäckar
Vigoroot är en populär serie odlingssäckar av ett slitstarkt, patenterat textilmaterial. Denna textilkruka ger en luftig rotmiljö som främjar rotförgreningen och därmed märkbart ökar tillväxten. Vigorootkrukan är extremt slitstark och kan till och med tvättas i maskin. När säsongen är över är det bara att skölja av krukan, vika ihop den och hänga undan till nästa vår.
Underlägg till odlingssäck
Tänk på att skydda känsligt underlag som trädäck från fuktmärken från odlingssäcken. Vi har flera underlägg, blomfat och brickor som passar för detta ändamål. Eller ställ säckarna på ett isolerat underlag som en frigolitplatta.
