Allium, prydnadslök
Plantera flerårig prydnadslök, Allium, för en härlig, lättskött blomning som rådjur dessutom ratar. Välj bland en hel bukett av flera olika sorter!
Bollökar är fantastiska som snittblommor. Också fröställningarna är underbara och kan användas som eterneller.
Bollökar, Allium
Bollökarnas släktnamn, Allium, används som gemensamt namn för dessa odlingsvärda prydnadslökar och mångas favoritblomma bland prydnadslök.
Som svävande klot höjer sig den resliga blomman över rabatten. Allium har ett långt prydnadsvärde då också fröställningarna är vackra. De älskas av fjärilar och andra pollinerare. Finast i stor flock, gärna ihop med prydnadsgräs och som snittblomma.
Olika sorters Allium
Det finns sorter som blommar från april till juli och alla är rådjurssäkra. De sprider sig dessutom gärna där de trivs – i mullrik, väldränerad jord.
Välkommen att kika på vårt fina, breda sortiment! Det finns både rena arter, spännande arter och korsningar vilket ger stor variation i utbudet.
Allium ’Millenium’, trädgårdskantlök, valdes år 2021 till Årets perenn. Denna utmärkelse ges särskilt utvalda, fleråriga perenner och lökväxter.
Allium giganteum, jättelök, är högst av alla. Mest populär har i många år varit purpurlök, ’Purple Sensation’. ’Gladiator’ är en annan favorit, som är en lyckad korsning med klotrunda, lila perfekt runda bollar på stadiga stjälkar. ’Mount Everest’, skägglök, är en vit omtyckt sort.
Är Allium flerårig?
Bollökar, allium är fleråriga prydnadslökar som gärna sprider sig både med sidolökar och genom självsådd.
Kan man så frön från Allium?
Du kan själv föröka dina Alliumplantor med frösådd. Vänta med att vittja fröna tills du ser att frökapseln mörknat och torkat.
När kan man sätta Allium?
Alliumlökar kan du köpa och plantera vår eller höst, därför ändrar sig sortiment och tillgång efter säsong. Härdigheten är ofta inget problem, men lökväxter behöver god dränering för att klara övervintringen. Grusiga, sandiga jordar är därför idealet. Läs vidare om att plantera allium.
