De är perfekta partners till andra lökväxter och vackra att mixa med varandra.

Förvara tulpanlökar innan plantering
Våra tulpanlökar förvaras svalt och mörkt, därför är de i gott skick när de kommer hem till dig. Lökar som hänger länge i butiker torkar snabbt. Om du inte kan plantera direkt, lägg påsen i kylskåpet tills det är dags.
När plantera tulpanlökar?
Tulpanlökar kan planteras hela hösten. De är robusta med sin rejäla storlek och du kan sätta tulpanlök tills tjälen sätter stopp.
Hur planterar man tulpanlökar?
Härdigheten är normalt inget problem, men tulpanlök behöver god dränering för att klara övervintringen.
Normaldjupet för tulpanlökar är 2-3 gånger lökens höjd. Men plantera djupare i kalla trakter eller om platsen inte skyddas av isolerande snö.
Tulpaner vill gärna stå varmt och torrt sommartid när den vilar. De är därför perfekta att plantera bland perenner, buskar och träd. Plantera gärna i grupper om tre, fem eller sju. Välj en plats som syns väl inifrån huset eller vid entrén.
Tulpanlökar går utmärkt att plantera i kruka, där de kan avnjutas på nära håll. När blomningen är över kan lökarna planteras ut i trädgården.

Gödsla tulpaner
Om blomningen avtar efter några år behöver dina tulpaner gödslas och beståndet glesas ut. Ge en giva tulpangödsel och en dos kogödsel varje vår. Några arter förökar sig med sidolökar. Gräv upp lökarna och glesa ut så får de en ny skjuts.
Lök- och knölväxter planteras normalt vår eller höst därför ändrar sig sortiment och tillgång efter säsong. Välkommen åter om du just nu inte finner den sort du söker.
